ABOUT THE ROLE

The Cocktail Waiter is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by taking cocktail orders, serving drinks, and ensuring a smooth and efficient bar service experience. This position requires a friendly, professional, and attentive individual who will interact with guests, take drink orders, and deliver beverages while ensuring an atmosphere of comfort and satisfaction. The Velvet Cocktail Waiter is expected to work closely with the bar and service teams to ensure timely and accurate service.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in a cocktail waiter or similar role in a bar or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages is a plus.
  • Experience in customer service and working in a fast-paced environment is highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple drink orders at once in a busy environment.
  • Positive and professional attitude with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Takes pride in personal grooming and presentation.
  • Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus.
  • Responsible alcohol service certification is desirable but not required.
  • Previous training or certifications in health and safety regulations (e.g., fire safety, first aid) is an advantage but not essential.
