ABOUT THE ROLE

The Host is responsible for ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all guests as they enter the restaurant. The Host plays a key role in managing reservations, guest seating, and coordinating with the front of house team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.


The Host will be attentive, professional, and proactive, while embodying our core values of heart, head, and hands: supportive, connected, refined, caring, genuine, positive, focused, creative, and entrepreneurial. As the first point of contact for guests, the Host sets the tone for the entire dining experience.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a warm and professional manner, ensuring an excellent guest experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and remain calm under pressure, especially during peak times.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring the smooth running of the reception area.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues to meet the needs of the guests.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Flexibility to work varied hours
  • Takes pride in own professional grooming
  • Ability and resilience to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Pride and attention to detail in your work
  • Confidence & professionalism when interacting with high profile guests
  • Food Hygiene or Health & Safety certification (preferably at level 2 or higher) is desirable but not essential.
  • Ongoing training in hospitality or customer service would be beneficial.

ELIGIBILITY
