ABOUT THE ROLE

The Crystal Moon Lounge Deputy Restaurant Director is responsible for assisting the Restaurant Director in overseeing the daily operations of the Crystal Moon Lounge, ensuring that the restaurant delivers exceptional service while maintaining the highest luxury standards. The Deputy Restaurant Director will play a key role in managing restaurant resources, team performance, and guest relations, supporting the Restaurant Director in driving operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

This role requires an individual who embodies the core values of the organization: heart, head, and hands, including being supportive, connected, refined, caring, genuine, positive, focused, creative, and entrepreneurial. The Deputy Restaurant Director will assist in maintaining the restaurant's atmosphere, ensuring a smooth service operation, and leading the team in providing an unforgettable experience to every guest.

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Proven experience in managing restaurant operations, including staff training, guest relations, and maintaining high service standards.
  • A strong background in ensuring operational efficiency while enhancing the guest experience.
  • Ability to manage guest feedback and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial performance analysis to drive restaurant profitability.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (preferred)
  • Certification in Food Safety, Health and Safety, or equivalent industry-recognized qualifications (preferred)
  • Additional training or certifications in luxury service standards, such as LQA or Forbes, would be an asset
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
