ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director of Purchasing is responsible for the effective leadership and control of the Purchasing department. The role ensures that goods and services are sourced competitively, contracts are commercially sound, and operational procurement activities support budgetary targets and internal service standards.

The Director safeguards financial controls, supplier governance and contractual compliance while ensuring efficient daily operations across purchasing and stock management.

ABOUT YOU

• Significant experience in Purchasing and/or Cost Control within hospitality.
• Proven experience managing supplier contracts and negotiations.
• Experience leading purchasing and stores operations.
• Experience using purchasing systems (ADACO desirable).
• Strong commercial judgement and negotiation capability.
• Sound financial and analytical skills.
• High integrity and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and procurement systems.
• Hospitality, Business or Supply Chain qualification desirable.
• Professional procurement qualification advantageous.
