ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for day to day preparation and service of Pastry and Bakery in your section, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times to the standards required by the hotel. To ensure that strict hygiene controls are kept in all Kitchen areas when under his supervision.

ABOUT YOU

• Minimum 5 years’ work experience in similar setting, or Michelin star restaurant.
• Preferred previous Chef de Partie experience
• Must be able to temper chocolate
• Must be able to work clean and tidy and in a timely manner
• Must be able to remain calm in a highly pressurized environment
• Excellent time management both of themselves and the team
• Demonstrates excellent skills and creativity in one or more aspects of patisserie. ie: sugar, chocolate, plated desserts, Banqueting and or afternoon tea
• Must have good communications skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to lead and give direction in Pasrty Sous Chef absence
