ABOUT THE ROLE

The Events & Groups Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all events and group bookings at Corinthia London. This includes managing the operational aspects of events from start to finish, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service, and maintaining a seamless experience for clients and guests.

The Manager will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure that all event requirements are met and that each event exceeds guest expectations. As a key member of the team, the Events & Groups Operations Manager is expected to lead by example, be proactive in solving problems, and maintain high standards of service excellence. ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience in event management and operations in a luxury hotel, resort, or hospitality setting (required).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and ensure high levels of performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Extensive experience in coordinating complex events, managing logistics, and delivering seamless experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage last-minute changes and unexpected situations effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Proven experience in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting related to events.

  • A qualification in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Knowledge of event management software or booking systems (preferred).
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
